Work!

Today at Work, people are like congratulation as I come in, and they say look at the schedule. Why, every two months you get a phase of being off on Saturdays, for two of them it ended this weekend, and it finally my turn to be off on a Saturday without asking. One person says it about time. Oh yeah, it is about time to be off on a Saturday without requesting it off. I am so excited! But I did double check the schedule and sure enough, I'm off on Saturday!

So this week schedule:

Sunday: 8:30-4:00

Monday: 4:30-9:30

Tuesday: OFF!

Wednsday: 5:30-10:30 (Close)

Thursday: OFF!

Friday: 5:30-10:30 (Close)

Saturday: OFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Woo and Hoo! It is a beauty to be off on a Saturday at my work.

Vent

Everybody knows whats going on with Kentucky Derby Winner Barbaro.

Well Mr. Bacon says we should just put him down. But, wait theres a chance this will be a medical miracle. This could be a huge stepping stone in Horse medicine, that would help my state a bunch.

We overcame a bunch of bumps in the road already, why not another one. We can overcome this one too. Miracles do happen and Barbaro is already one. I am supporting Barbaro with all my heart.

Please, people you don't realize how much Horse Breeding means to the state of Kentucky do you. Just don't give up on him till he's in too much pain.

Hot Enough For Ya

Woo, it is hot, and I mean downright hot. Temperatures are going to get up 100 today and factor in the heat index, its going to feel like 110-115. Wow. We could get close to 105 on Tuesday and Wednsday, which would bring heat index near 120. It is miserable out there. You need to stay in the Air conditioned house. Hot and Humid, don't complain wesatern folks.

This Week Plans

Sunday: I worked 1:00-8:00, as some of you all probably know, Sundays are grocery stores busiest days.

Monday: I was Off! I drove over to a friends house and we ate dinner with a grade school friend, we had not seen since graduation from 8th grade in 2003. Funny thing was we pulled up and he was sitting in his truck right across from us. Good times, catching up on things. Hopefully that Class of 2003 will meet up in the next year or so, before we start college and get on with our lives.

Tuesday: I work from 4:30-10:30, which means I get the pleasure to close with the Head Cashier, that I don't really get along with, unless well Me, another head cashier and she is the only on there.

Wednsday: Off, but a dentist appointment, blech, I hate the dentist. BTW, this is my last day off of the week.

Thursday: I work 5:30-10:30, yes I get the pleasure to close for a second time this week, oh yay, yeah right, I hate closing.

Friday: Sigh, I work on a Friday for the first time in 13 weeks, I'm suppose to be off on Friday, anywhoo, I work from 2:30-8:00.

Saturday: I work 2:30-8:30.

So work gave me a lot of hours again, I work the most of the night crew.

One thing at two cashiers said damn they like you as a closer, just like we close a lot too. Thing is, they don't close twice this week for the first time in a long time. Damnit, I hate closing but apparently I'm a good mopper and preparing the registers for the next day.

Its Been A While

Its been a while since I've updated. I'll do a mini update on whats going in my life

*I just got back from South Carolina, on Saturday.

*I am working five days this week at work, first time since I last updated.

*I got my drivers license almost a month ago.

*Remember that post during December about my friends splitting, well I heard while I was out of town they hanged out for the first time in a very long and there all friends again. Yay! This was a total surprise.

*I will have a car in probably the next two weeks. Watch for a post at that other place.

*I am having a great Summer.

Important dates coming up in the next year

*I am anxious to see my schedule for my Senior year, schedules come in mail during week of July 17th.

*School starts on August 15.

*Senior retreat is January 2-5. Yay, I get a long winter break. There are 9 different retreats.

*Spring Break is very late this year, April 6-15.

*A month month later on May, 11, is my last day of regular classes in High School, then exams. Catholic High school kids that are Seniors in Louisville get out 2 weeks before the rest of the school, *grin*.

*May 19 is Bacculariate Mass.

*May 20 is graduation, WOW, the end so soon. 165 school days left before I'm done.

This is probably the biggest 365 days of my life.

BTW, all during this time, my family and I pray my grandma doesn't dies because she's 87 years old and we are always dreading that phonecall from Kansas, but so far its her wanting to talk to all of us.

But life is good.
