This Week Plans

Sunday: I worked 1:00-8:00, as some of you all probably know, Sundays are grocery stores busiest days.

Monday: I was Off! I drove over to a friends house and we ate dinner with a grade school friend, we had not seen since graduation from 8th grade in 2003. Funny thing was we pulled up and he was sitting in his truck right across from us. Good times, catching up on things. Hopefully that Class of 2003 will meet up in the next year or so, before we start college and get on with our lives.

Tuesday: I work from 4:30-10:30, which means I get the pleasure to close with the Head Cashier, that I don't really get along with, unless well Me, another head cashier and she is the only on there.

Wednsday: Off, but a dentist appointment, blech, I hate the dentist. BTW, this is my last day off of the week.

Thursday: I work 5:30-10:30, yes I get the pleasure to close for a second time this week, oh yay, yeah right, I hate closing.

Friday: Sigh, I work on a Friday for the first time in 13 weeks, I'm suppose to be off on Friday, anywhoo, I work from 2:30-8:00.

Saturday: I work 2:30-8:30.

So work gave me a lot of hours again, I work the most of the night crew.

One thing at two cashiers said damn they like you as a closer, just like we close a lot too. Thing is, they don't close twice this week for the first time in a long time. Damnit, I hate closing but apparently I'm a good mopper and preparing the registers for the next day.

Just wait until that first September comes along when you're sloughing into work instead of school. If you're like me, THAT will feel weird.

I'm working the 2-10 PM shift today and tomorrow, and worked it yesterday as well.

I used to like closing the restaurant where I worked. It was pretty quiet that late and you could mostly go at your own pace, since the manager would be in the office doing the totals.

Good job going to the dentist. If I may offer some advice? Don't stop going to the dentist. My DH only goes when there's a problem and then the dentist always finds other problems. I think he's had 5 cavities in the last 4 years and *still* he doesn't make regular appointments. So what if they nag you about flossing? So what if they poke you in the gums? Beats having to get your teeth drilled.

Sorry for going on.
